We would be delighted if you are able to help us by any means you can. There are many ways to help. You can assist us financially - any amount you are able to give makes a difference. You can also assist us through volunteering your time, perhaps through raising awareness of our work, organising fund-raising activities, through online English language tutoring, or perhaps even spending some time working directly with us here in Tripoli.
Financial Support - how to contribute
We are working towards a future whereby we are financially independent and can draw the necessary funds from the local community. However, we are not quite there yet, you can help us in a number of ways.
1) Sponsor a Child:
It costs only around US $250 to educate one child in our schools for a full academic year. If you are able to sponsor a child's place either for a full year, or even part of a year, that will be a great help to us, but more importantly, it will be a potentially life-changing gift to them.
2) Provide support to the school:
We have enormous upkeep costs including rent and staff salaries. We require continued support to help upkeep our schools.
3) Provide Support for an individual project:
We are always looking for new projects to enhance life here. Future projects include: renovating the children's bathrooms, providing accommodation for volunteers, upgrading our playground to make it a more hospitable environment to young pupils and more. Please get in touch and we can work closely to make one of these a reality.
