Tuyoor Al Amal is originally founded in a mountainous region North of Tripoli, in a town called Dier Ammar. It was founded by a group of concerned Syrian Refugees who wish to continue education for their community. The school catered to grades 1 - 8, and was in session from 8:30 to 12:20, Saturday through Thursday. It offers education exclusively to displaced Syrian Children who have suffered from the effects of the war in Syria. Non-political, it focuses on general education, offering Math, English, Science, Arabic, Religion, Art, and Physical Education. The mission of the school is to provide an educational experience that will give each and every student an opportunity to learn and also discover new passions for their future. In addition to an enriching education, each student will have the opportunity to receive individual therapy through various creative projects.
