Unpaid volunteers have made important contributions to the programme of the Tuyoor Al Amal Schools. They can assist us in a variety of roles, such as:

• Teaching assistants for English as a second language
• Using their existing professional expertise e.g. psychology, counselling, accountancy
• Organising fund-raising in their home countries
• Professional teachers, especially those who can speak Arabic

The ordinary school year runs from the beginning of October to the end of May, and the summer session runs from July to September, dependent on funding.

We can offer accommodation and food for our volunteers here. Volunteers will need to check the current Lebanese visa policy for their passport as we are unable to offer visa advice or support.
